多様なバックグラウンドを持つセーラー、サーファー、特殊部隊員などのチームが、次世代のストームフリースを徹底的にテストし、その実地検証のフィールドノートを持ち帰ってきた。

ジョシュ（スキーインストラクター）

「マウンテンバイク用ジャージの上に着るレイヤーとして気に入っています。ユタ州でのライド中に時折雨が降ったけど、水をしっかり弾いてくれました。運動量が多く、心拍数が上がるような場面でも性能はとても良かったです。ただ、このウェアがレイヤリングのどこに位置するのか判断が難しかったので、その点をもっと分かりやすくしてくれると助かります。」

“Love it as a layer over my mountain biking jersey. Wore it through occasional showers here in Utah on my rides, and it repelled the water nicely. With high activity, high heart rate moments, it really performed well. I had difficulty figuring out where it sat in my layering, so better communication on that would be my recommendation to the team.”

“I was in some pretty wintery conditions, but as long as I was keeping my heart rate up, I was fine. Due to the stretchiness, I could definitely layer it. The sleeves were a bit short for me, especially when climbing. It would be good if it could pack into its own pocket so I could shed the layer when climbing.”

I couldn’t layer it as well as I could have when it got super cold. I definitely felt what everyone was talking about with the sleeves a little short. When I was active, the sleeves felt short.

「任務で出ることが多いんだけど、これは今や定番の一着になってる。6週間洗ってないけど、まだ新品みたいな匂いだよ。ジッパーはもう少し丈夫だったらいいな。YKK製に変えた方がいいかもね。環境に応じて順応してくれる。寒いときは暖かく、暑いときは体温を調整してくれる。温暖な場所でも、寒さや風の強い環境でもしっかり機能してくれた。」

“I'm often deployed and this has become a go-to. I haven't washed it in 6 weeks, it still smells brand new. The zipper isn’t as durable as I'd like. Maybe going to a YKK would be better. It adapts to your surroundings. If I'm cold, it keeps me warm. If I'm warm, it thermoregulates. It's been good in temperate, cold and windy conditions.”
