INTRODUCING: REQUIPMENT
FLORENCEでは、「長持ち」することを前提にギアを企画開発している。そして今回、お気に入りのギアの寿命をさらに延ばすための新たな取り組みを米国からスタート。その名も REQUIPMENT（リクイップメント）。
このローンチを記念して、デザイナー Illikoi Goods（イリコイ・グッズ） と提携し、アップサイクルされた限定ハットコレクションを発表します。＊現在米国市場向け限定。
At FLORENCE, we design equipment meant to last—and now, we’re creating space to extend the service life of your favorite gear. Today we're introducing, REQUIPMENT. To initiate the launch, we’ve partnered with designer Illikoi Goods for an exclusive collection of upcycled hats.
Illikoi Goods × FLORENCE のカプセルコレクションでは、世界に一つだけのハットを20点用意。すべて、FLORENCEの開発アーカイブから選び抜かれたサンプル製品や実験的な素材を分解し、手作業で再構築したもの。これらは単なるヘッドウェアではなく、“アーティファクト（遺物）”とも言える存在。Illikoi のアプローチは、ギアの素材、各パネルに刻まれた歴史を引き出し、縫い目のひとつひとつにストーリーを宿す。そして未来に継承されるべきクオリティのハットを生み出しているのです。
Illikoi Goods × FLORENCE コレクションは、2025年5月7日（火）午前11時（PDT）より、米国在住メンバー限定で販売開始される。
FLORENCEでは、不良品やサンプル品などを活用したアップサイクルアイテムの限定コレクションを、デザイナーや職人たちと共に今後も展開していくほか、FLORENCE公式Discordコミュニティ内に、セカンドハンドマーケットプレイスを開設した。ここではメンバー同士がFLORENCE製品の売買・交換を行うことが可能です。
この取り組みは、私たちが生み出す製品の寿命を最大限に尊重し、最初の所有者を超えてその価値を受け継いでいくこと、そして「少ないものでより多くを成す」というFLORENCEの信念を、行動で示すためのものです。あなたのギアが、再び海や山へ旅立つために。
The Illikoi Goods x FLORENCE capsule features 20 one-of-a-kind hats, each handmade from deconstructed sample products and experimental materials pulled from the FLORENCE development archive. These aren’t just headwear—they’re artifacts. Illikoi’s approach brings out the history in every panel to create heirloom-quality hats with a story stitched into every seam.

In addition to working with designers and artisans on limited-edition drops of upcycled items made from defective or sample FLORENCE garments, we've created a second hand marketplace hosted within our Discord community where members can buy, sell, and exchange FLORENCE goods. This initiative is our way of honoring the long lifespan of the pieces we make, preserving their integrity beyond first ownership, and reinforcing our commitment to doing more with less.
