Newport Beach, CA — FLORENCE, the leading performance apparel brand founded by world champion surfer John John Florence, is proud to announce its new partnership with the Ben Carlson Foundation as the official apparel partner. This collaboration unites two organizations dedicated to ocean safety, community impact, and inspiring the next generation of watermen and women.

The Ben Carlson Foundation was established to honor the legacy of Newport Beach Lifeguard Ben Carlson, who tragically lost his life in 2014 while making a heroic rescue. The foundation’s mission is to promote water safety, support lifeguard programs, and provide scholarships to young leaders who embody Carlson’s spirit of courage and selflessness.

Through this partnership, FLORENCE will provide performance apparel for the foundation’s events, lifeguard initiatives, and fundraising efforts. Additionally, FLORENCE will participate in fundraising efforts to benefit the foundation’s scholarship and ocean safety programs.
